A short guide to making Idle On Duty part of your day.

Open the Windows app

Idle On Duty runs as a standalone app on Windows x64. No installer is needed. Keep the app in a folder you can write to.

Activate your license

While connected to the internet, open Subscription, enter the license key delivered with your Payhip purchase, and select Verify access key. Successful verification enables offline access for up to 24 hours, limited by your license expiry.

Choose your activities and duration

Select Gentle, Balanced, or Custom. Review which activities are enabled and adjust their intervals. Choose a duration or Unlimited, then select Start session.

Stay in control

Pause from the app or use your configured global shortcut. Stop your session before changing its activity configuration. A running session requests that Windows keep the screen and system awake; stopping or pausing restores normal idle behavior. Manual locking, sleep, and administrator policies still apply.
